Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics entry requirements
To secure admission to the course, you have to meet the following requirements. Note that these requirements also apply to a diploma in nutrition and dietetics at KMTC.
- A minimum mean grade of C minus in KCSE.
- D plus in chemistry.
- D plus in biology.
- D plain in either mathematics, physics, agriculture, or home science.

Course units and structure
The diploma in nutrition and dietetics has three modules. Each module takes a year to complete.
Every module covers various topics otherwise known as units. Some of the units include; Human anatomy and physiology, food preparation, chemistry, micronutrients, diet therapy, nutritional diseases, and many more.
Application and admission
Application for the course can be submitted through kuccps when the portal opens for applications. Alternatively, applications can be submitted directly to the preferred schools.
