The course takes two years to complete and covers theory and practicals in vehicle bodywork, vehicle technology, vehicle electrical and electronics, vehicle engine technology, and many more.

Entry requirements for certificate in Automotive engineering

To enroll for the course, you need at least a mean grade of D plus in KCSE. Some institutions accept a mean grade of D plain.

Application

Applications for certificate in automotive engineering can be submitted through the KUCCPS portal when it’s open for application between January and March of every year.

Alternatively, the application can be submitted directly to the preferred institution.
