The Kenya Technical Teachers College (KTTC), now the Kenya School of TVET(KSTVET), is a public training institution dedicated to training technical trainers with adequate pedagogical knowledge and skills to teach college and TVET students.
Certification and Pedagogy skills taught at Kenya School of TVET are requirements for registration with TVETA, a body that regulates TVET institutions and trainers.

KTTC (Kenya School of TVET) admission/entry requirements
To be admitted for a trainer course at the Kenya School of TVET, you must have an undergraduate degree for a diploma in technical trainer course and be a diploma/certificate holder for an instructor training course.
Technical trainers train students at the diploma level while instructor trainers are educators for artisan and craft/certificate courses.

Courses Duration
All courses take four terms (2 years) to complete with the last term dedicated to teaching practice. You can enrol for full-time studies during April or September intakes.
If you are currently working, you can opt for a school-based program. School-based intake is in April of every year.

The total KTTC fee structure is KES 100,900 for diploma in technical training and KES 67, 611 for the certificate in instructor training.
