KUCCPS KMTC application deadline 2024 and courses on offer
This is a guide to KUCCPS KMTC courses application deadline, and courses on offer during this application window.
KMTC applications can now be submitted through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Services (KUCCPS) portal. Before this development, all applications were submitted through a dedicated portal managed by the institution.
KUCCPS KMTC application portal is currently open for application and will close on 30th September 2024.
In this article, we will share all KMTC courses that you can apply for during this application window. Note that more courses are offered at the Kenya Medical Training College but are not available during this KUCCPS application cycle.
KMTC courses that are on offer via the KUCCPS portal
The following is a list of all courses that are open for application.
- Diploma in health records and information technology
- Diploma in radiography & imaging
- Diploma in public health
- Diploma in medical social work
- Diploma in health counselling
- Diploma in community health
- Certificate in health records and information technology
- Certificate in nutrition & dietetics
- Certificate in medical engineering
- Certificate in orthopedic trauma medicine
- Certificate in public health
- Certificate in community health assistant
- Certificate in medical emergency technician
- Diploma in health promotion
- Diploma in health insurance management
Application deadline
KUCCPS application deadline for KMTC courses will be on 30th September 2024. Initially, the deadline was set to be on 21st August 2024 but was extended to the current date probably due to a low number of applicants.
The current application is concurrent with TVET courses applications and inter-university transfers.
How to apply
You can submit your application by visiting the KUCCPS portal and logging in using your KCSE index number, KCSE year, and your birth certificate number or KCPE index number as your password.
Applications can also be submitted through kmtc application portal.
When will KMTC courses application via kuccps be open?
After the end of this application window, the portal will most likely open again in 2025 after the release of 2024 KCSE results.
Note that the current KUCCPS KMTC application is open to those who sat for KCSE between 2000 and 2023 plus have never been placed in any institution by KUCCPS before.
Also, one has to meet the entry requirements for the course they intend to apply for.
