KMTC Nakuru campus is located in Nakuru city next to Nakuru level 6 hospital which serves as the primary training center for the campus.
It was established in 1968 but started operating in 1972 with training registered clinical officers (RCO) to replace the then clinical medicine certificate that’s no longer offered in Kenya. Today, the campus has a population of about 2, 000 medical students
