Colleges offering diploma in criminology
The following is a list of colleges offering a criminology course at the diploma level. The entry requirement for the course is C minus in KCSE.

- Masinde Muliro university of science and technology.
- Pwani university.
Note that the above are the only public universities offering the course at the diploma level and are eligible for government funding if applied through KUCCPS.

Certificate in criminology
To enroll for a certificate course in criminology you need to have at least D plan in KCSE. If you meet the requirements, you can apply for the course in any of the following institutions.

Criminology mode of study in Kenyan Universities
A degree, diploma, and certificate in criminology take at least 4, 3, and 2 years respectively to complete.
