Approved dentistry and medical schools in Kenya

The following is a table of public and private institutions approved to offer degrees in medicine and dentistry by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDU).

Med school Entry requirements as per KMPDC

The following are entry requirements for the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery as provided by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.

  1. At least C plus in KCSE.
  2. An average of B plain in Biology, Chemistry Physics/Mathematics, and English/Kiswahili.

The above are direct entry requirements.

Alternatively;

If you hold a diploma in medical sciences with an average grade of least C plus and the same score in cluster subjects you can apply to your most preferred institution.

Undergraduate degree holders in biological sciences from recognized universities can also enroll after passing the graduate record examination.

Grade 5 or above is required for the International Baccalaureate.
