Entry requirements
The entry requirement for the courses is at least C plus in KCSE. Note that there are other subject requirements to be met.
Universities offering the courses
Agriculture courses are offered in almost all universities in Kenya. However, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and Egerton University are known for agriculture courses.
Agriculture diploma courses in Kenya
TVET institutions offer diploma courses for those who didn’t meet the university entry requirements as well as certificate holders in their respective fields of study.

Entry requirements for diploma courses
To enroll for an agricultural course at the diploma level, you need a minimum of C minus in KCSE. There are no subject requirements for the courses.
Artisan courses

- Artisan certificate in agribusiness
- Artisan certificate in agricultural mechanics
- Artisan in entrepreneurial agriculture
- Nvcet in modern methods of agriculture (agribusiness development)
The entry requirements for the courses are a KCSE mean grade E or above.
