After a long wait, the Kuccps portal is now open for 2024 applications. All students who sat for KCSE in 2023 are invited to apply for the degree, diploma, certificate, and artisan courses. The portal will close on 21st February 2024.

More so, if you sat for KCSE between 2000 and 2022, you can submit your application via the portal as long you have never been placed by KUCCPS before.

Admission requirements for courses

You can apply to any public university or college for a course of your choice via the portal as long as you meet the entry requirements for the course and cluster where applicable.

The following is a table of entry requirements for degree, diploma, certificate, and artisan courses.

Requirements for KUCCPS courses

Note that there are minimum subject requirements for degree courses and almost all diploma courses available at KMTC.

What happens after the application window closes?

Once the application period ends, KUCCPS will place students in their selected universities and colleges. Successful and unsuccessful students will be notified via individual KUCCPS accounts.

If your application is unsuccessful, the portal will be open again for a second revision of courses.

If you are unsatisfied with the college/university that you will be placed in, you will be eligible to apply for inter-institutional transfer.
