Requirements for degree in Education courses
To enroll for a degree in education course in Kenya, you need to meet the following requirements.
- KCSE mean of C plus or above.
- Have at least C plus and above in two teaching subjects.
Diploma in Education
The entry requirements for a diploma in education are the same as the entry requirements for Bachelor of education.
Diploma in education courses have many specializations and it is upon the student to choose their subject combination. In most cases, prospective students are required to have at least C plus in KCSE for their teaching subjects.
However, a diploma in early childhood education and a diploma in child protection requires a KCSE mean grade of C plain.
Diploma in primary teacher education
The entry requirement for diploma in primary teacher education is a KCSE mean grade of C plain. However, prospective students with impairments can be admitted with a mean grade of C minus. Read more via the shared link.
