A KMTC diploma in pharmacy is a three-year course covering modules in human anatomy, pharmaceutics, microbiology, organic chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, biochemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical dispensing practice, medicinal chemistry, pharmacy law and ethics, clinical pharmacy, and more.
Career options for the course include pharmacists in public and private health facilities, self-employment, pharmaceutical medical representative, research and development, pharmaceutical quality control and assurance, and pharmaceutical products regulation.

KMTC Diploma in Pharmacy requirements
To study diploma in pharmacy at KMTC, you have to fulfil the following requirements.
- KCSE mean grade C plain.
- C plain in either C in English or Kiswahili.
- C plain in either Chemistry
- C plain in Biology
- C plain in with mathematics/physics

Fees structure for diploma in pharmacy
Note that this fee structure is exclusive of meals and accommodation. The aforementioned are payable at respective campuses at applicable rates. KMTC reserves all the rights to change this fee structure.
Regular students:
Year one total payable fees: KES 80, 700
Year 2 total payable fees: 78, 000
Year 3 total payable fees: 78, 000
Note that regular students are government-sponsored students.
Self-sponsored students
Year one total payable fees: KES 120, 700
Year 2 total payable fees: 118, 000
Year 3 total payable fees: 118, 000
