Minimum veterinary courses requirements in Kenya

  • KCSE mean grade of C+ for degree.
  • KCSE mean grade of C plain diploma.
  • KCSE mean grade of C – and D plain for certificate courses.

Minimum subject’s requirements for veterinary courses in Kenya

  1. Degree in veterinary medicine: C plus in biology and chemistry. C plus in either mathematics or physics or agriculture.
  2. Degree in animal health production:
  3. Diploma in animal health:  C plain in biology, C minus in chemistry and C minus in either physics, mathematics or agriculture.
  4. Certificate in animal health and production: KCSE mean grade of C – with minimum of C minus in biology.
  5. Certificate in animal production and health management: KCSE mean grade of D plain.
  6. Certificate in daily management: KCSE mean grade of D plain.
