Requirements for pharmacy diploma in Kenya.

To enrol for a diploma in pharmacy in Kenya, you are required to meet the following requirements.

  1. At least KCSE mean grade of C plain.
  2. A minimum of C plain in chemistry.
  3. A minimum of C plain in biology.
  4. A minimum of C plain in Mathematics/physics.
  5. At least C plain in English/Kiswahili.

Public institutions offering diploma in pharmacy in Kenya

If you meet all the requirements above, you can apply for this program via the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central placement services portal when it’s open for applications.

Alternatively, you can apply directly to either of the following or your preferred institution.

  1. Eldoret polytechnic
  2. Kabete national polytechnic
  3. Kenya coast polytechnic
  4. Kisii national polytechnic
  5. Kisii university tvet institute
  6. Kisiwa technical training institute
  7. Murang’a university of technology tvet institute
  8. Nairobi technical training institute
  9. Nyeri national polytechnic
  10. Rift valley technical training institute
  11. Technical university of kenya
  12. Technical university of mombasa
  13. Thika technical training institute
  14. Kisumu National polytechnic –Diploma in Pharmacy.

The program is also offered at the Kenya Medical Training College.  Pharmacy requirements at KMTC are the same as the ones covered above.

Government higher education funding
