A diploma in software engineering/software development/software design is a three-year course offered by public and private colleges and universities in Kenya.

Entry requirements for diploma in software engineering

1. KCSE mean grade of C minus and above.
2. There are no specific subject requirements for this program.
3. A certificate in software engineering/IT/Computer science or related courses is also acceptable.
