KNEC registration deadline for technical exams set to take place from November 2022 will be on 15th September 2022.
Institutions are advised to upload registration data for the October/November exams by the same date since there will be no late registration. This shall be done online and all prospective candidates will be registered in their respective institutions.
All institutions are also expected to ensure that candidate photographs are uploaded. These will be used to identify students during the examinations.
For the October/November exams, REAPEATING STUDENTS should not register for refer and the subsequent module in the same series.
Requirements of KNEC technical exams registration.
- Institutional candidates entered for the examination must be bona fide enrolled students and who were studying in the college/institution.
- Candidates must have met the minimum examination entry requirements for the individual courses they intend to register.
NOTE that KNEC registration deadline for technical exams will not be extended.
I am a student in kiambu National Polytechnic , my names are Kelvin mwita magaiwa , admission (Dme/0084/22) I was to sit for my knec this November but due to my health issues I was not able to take my passport in time so I am informed that the portal is closed kindly if it can be possible for me to be registered kindly help me
The repeating students should not pay much in their paper for example resit in business law is 3650/= that is too much. Please work on that.

Why knec official disturbing us ,how come if someone get 3units refer,he/she will register the whole units , imagine they don’t have mercy, some of us we have struggled to pay our fee ,at final exam, you get three units refer,they said you Will register the whole units, what is problem if we registered the only units we get refer whether it’s two or three ? instead they stress us with thing

as one of people with disability i did a diploma course in building construction at the current Masinde muliro when it was a middle level college due challenges I couldnt manage to sit for the referred papers ie structures and measurements of building works so i wish to request the council to review my two papers of the 1997 october november series to enable me persue my studies of can enable me acquire my certificate.
