KMTC medical engineering requirements (Certificate and diploma)

The best place to start your medical engineering career if you didn’t meet university entry requirements is KMTC.

You can also enroll for the course in one of the colleges in Kenya offering either a certificate or diploma in medical engineering.

Requirements for diploma in medical engineering at KMTC

To be enrol for diploma in medical engineering at KMTC, you are required to meet the following entry requirements.

1. At least C plain in KCSE.
2. C plain in English/Kiswahili, mathematics, and physics.
3. C minus in either biology, chemistry, metalwork, or technical drawing.

Requirements for a certificate in medical engineering at KMTC

If you didn’t meet the entry requirements for diploma, you can enroll for a certificate and upgrade later. The following are the requirements for certificate in medical engineering at KMTC.

1. At least a KCSE mean grade of C minus
2. C minus in English/Kiswahili.
3. D plain in mathematics.
4. D minus in physics.
5. D plain in either biology, chemistry, metalwork, electricity, or technical drawing.
