This is the degree program for aspiring fashion designers and it is offered by 9 universities in Kenya.

The direct entry requirement for the program is at least C plus in KCSE with a minimum of C plain in chemistry.

Holders of a diploma in the course can also apply directly to their preferred institution.

Certificate in fashion design

The entry requirement for a certificate in fashion design is a KCSE mean grade of D plain. There are no subject requirements for the course.

In some institutions, it is denoted as a Craft certificate.
